Day 4 -
Motala to Lake Vänern
Wake up to spectacular views of Lake Vättern and enjoy a morning tour of the superb Karlsborg Fortress. Continue your Stockholm to Gothenburg cruise along a particularly beautiful stretch of canal to the highest part of your journey which is marked by an obelisk. After dinner the ship arrives at Sjötorp and navigates a series of eight locks, giving you time to explore the fascinating Canal Museum or take an evening stroll along the towpath. Late in the evening the ship enters Lake Vänern, Sweden’s largest lake.

Arrive in Trollhättan early this morning where you can visit the museum and explore the old locks.
