Day 1 -
Arrival
Arrive at Luleå Airport, collect your hire car, buy all your grocery essentials for your Midnight Sun holiday then head for the Polarctis Lodge. Settle into your accommodation, indulge in a welcome barbecue which is cooked on a grillkota under the Midnight Sun, and get acquainted with this stunning region.

Day 2 -
Quad Bike Safari
Today you will be provided with equipment and instructions for a four hour quad bike tour. Race over gorgeous landscapes, stopping for lunch on the way, then drive back to the lodge. Perhaps enjoy an evening trek under the Midnight Sun and relax in the serene nature of Swedish Lapland.

Day 3 -
Wildlife and Canoeing Tour
Transfer in your hire car to one of the nearby lakes which will be the starting point for the wildlife and canoeing tour. As you will spend approximately six hours paddling along the shimmering water you may witness some of Sweden’s native animals in their natural habitats. Look out for beavers, moose, reindeer and various species of birds on this captivating journey. Enjoy a picnic lunch and later return to the lodge and listen to tuneful birdsong as you relax at your cabin under the Midnight Sun.
Day 4 -
Moose and Reindeer Farms
Drive your hire car to the moose farm which is approximately 40 kilometres away. During your time here you will learn all about these beautiful animals and hopefully have the chance to get up close to them. Following a coffee break, continue to drive to the reindeer farm where you will be greeted by a traditional Sámi host who will teach you about the history and life of the deer in the Land of the Midnight Sun. Tuck into an authentic Lappish lunch in a tepee and listen to interesting stories about the customs of the Sámi people. Drive back to the Polarctis Lodge and prepare your evening meal. Day 5 -
Leisure Time and Departure
Today your Midnight Sun adventure in the heart of Lapland concludes. Make the most of the morning and hire a motorboat on the Kesasjärv Lake or take your car and drive to the town of Överkalix, which can be found by the banks of the Kalix River. Lush peaks, lakes and waterfalls adorn the area and views from the top of Brännaberget Mountain are phenomenal and accessible by car. There is also the opportunity to do a spot of fishing back at the Polarctis Lodge. Bid farewell to the Land of the Midnight Sun and transfer to Luleå Airport, return your rental car and catch your inbound flight.
