Inspired by a film called the ‘Treelover’, the initiators behind this novel concept wanted to sustain their ecological ethics by constructing a contemporary yet green hotel. Each room at the Harads Treehotel, designed by insightful architects, is elevated in the trees and effectively harmonises with the encompassing scenery. Spend three nights in the Bird's Nest room which blends effortlessly with the natural environment and surrounds you with idyllic countryside and an overwhelming sense of calm.
The Brittas Guesthouse is located just a short walk away from the Harads Treehotel rooms and exudes a friendly, relaxed and hospitable ambience. Guests at Harads Treehotel are free to make use of the facilities at the Brittas Guesthouse which include a bar, restaurant, sauna and spa, perfect for escaping the stresses of day to day life. Excellent local and freshly cooked food is served daily, offering Swedish delicacies such as reindeer, fish and elk, alternatively you can have a go at baking your own pizza.
To the exterior of the rooms there is a vast wilderness waiting to be explored on your Harads Treehotel adventure. Arrival
Once you have arrived in Sweden, transfer to Harads Treehotel. Enjoy your first night staying in the Birds Nest room.
Days 2 to 3 -
Optional Activities
There is a variety of optional activities (additional cost) available for you to enjoy during your Harads Treehotel adventure. You are free to spend your time however you wish, whether it be discovering the area’s spectacular wildlife, relaxing at Harads Treehotel or enjoying the charming shops and restaurants. Perhaps you might enjoy a Highland Cattle Safari on a Harads Treehotel adventure. Take your seat in the tractor trailer and prepare for a fun and bumpy ride over verdant meadows that are flecked with brightly coloured flowers before meeting the adorable Highland Cattle. This familiar breed looks similar to the musk ox, only it is smaller and is usually either auburn or black in colour with large horns and shaggy fur. Feed the cattle before indulging in your own picnic on the grassy pasture.
When you stay at Harads Treehotel you can also go on a horse riding activity through the picturesque countryside. This is a superb activity for both adults and children to enjoy and is ideal for beginners. You will be provided with all necessary equipment and a professional guide will be on-hand at all times.
