Your tour starts from Colombo airport where you will be transferred to your selected hotel.
Day 2 -
Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa
Begin the first day of your holiday in Sri Lanka with a climb to the top of Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is surrounded by delightful water gardens. Appreciate the ornate and world-famous frescos of the ‘Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya which are situated within one of the rocks of the archaeological site.
Continuing your holiday to Sri Lanka we journey to Polonnaruwa where you can enjoy a trip to the Royal Palace and Gal Viharaya, also known as the ‘Cave of the Spirits of Knowledge’. This cave monastery has been a revered pilgrimage site for many centuries and is one of the largest and best preserved cave temples in Sri Lanka.

Day 3 -
Dambulla and Kandy
Visit the Dambulla Rock Temple where you can admire the intricate murals of Buddha that decorate its walls and stroll around the striking statues. During the afternoon your holiday in Sri Lanka continues with a sightseeing tour of Kandy. A listed UNESCO World Heritage Site, this beautiful city is home to a protected lake that has been shrouded in folklore and is bordered by unspoilt scenery. From here you can explore the bustling bazaar that sells a diverse range of goods from clothes and hardware to stationery and mouth-watering delicacies.
Complete today’s exciting adventures as we travel to the Temple of the Tooth Relic where you can join in the celebrations of the cultural show and watch traditional Sri Lankan dancing. The temple houses a tooth which is believed to have belonged to the Buddha, since becoming a sacred artefact which many travel to see when enjoying a holiday in Sri Lanka.

Day 4 -
Peradeniya – Pinnawala – Colombo
Start the day with a relaxing walk around the picturesque Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya which is not only the largest in Sri Lanka, but also one of the finest in Asia and houses over 10,000 species of trees and plants.
This spectacular holiday in Sri Lanka would not be complete without an excursion to the inspirational elephant orphanage in Pinnewala. Marvel at these fabulous creatures that inhabit the 24 acres of land as they are raised by the wildlife authorities.
