Day 1 - Arrive in Reykjavík

Take a flight from London to Reykjavík where you will transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay. (Transfers are not included within the price of the tour)

Day 2 - City Tour and the Blue Lagoon

This morning we take a city tour of Reykjavík. Marvel at the distinctive architecture of the Hallgrímskirkja church, one of the city’s most impressive buildings which perches on the top of a hill. If you wish to take a ride up to the observation tower you will be greeted with unbeatable, panoramic vistas from the viewing deck. Birdlovers will be in their element when we visit Lake Tjornin, which is unusually situated in the centre of the city and is home to many varied species of Arctic birdlife.

The afternoon can be spent at leisure and you are free to browse the fashionable shops, stop for coffee at one of the chic cafés or explore more of Reykjavik’s attractions. Later in the evening you can dip into the mineral rich waters of the Blue Lagoon before taking a Golden Circle tour the following day.

Day 3 - Golden Circle Tour

Today we embark on a Golden Circle tour which features a trio of Reykjavík’s inspiring highlights. Admire the immensity of the Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir’s spouting hot springs and Þingvellir National Park which is justly deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This beautiful national park is of great historical, cultural and geological importance as it bears significant evidence of Iceland’s remarkable past. As you return to your hotel, take a moment to contemplate the unbelievable sights you have experienced on this wonderful Blue Lagoon and Golden Circle tour.

Day 4 - Departure

After breakfast make your way to the airport for your return flight.
